Women are the largest growing demographic in the firearms industry and for a good reason. We were born with the natural ability to protect the ones we love. As a female firearm instructor I have a vested interest in teaching the Florida Concealed Carry Class as well as other firearm training to women in the Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas.

Hi, I'm Crystal Millán. I'm a USCCA Certified Firearm Instructor and Range Safety Officer. I'm dedicated to empowering women and helping them to protect themselves as well as the ones they love.

Training for Women With Little to No Firearm Experience

It's no secret that women learn differently from men. We use different strategies for learning. While there are many amazing male instructors out there, women tend to relate better to other women in many situations. That is why I cater to women and their unique needs that men simply can not relate to.

One-size does not fit all when it comes to guns. Women have smaller hands than most men, therefore, we have to overcome obstacles that many men won't have to when it comes to holding and gripping certain handguns.

I know how intimidating firearms can be for some women. The media has painted a pretty scary picture. The good news is I am here to help you overcome those fears. I use non-lethal training methods that help build your skills and give you the confidence you need to handle a real firearm.

As a mother I want to protect all children from accidental gun deaths and injuries. That is why I focus heavily on gun safety. 

 **We recommend all parents take advantage of our firearm safety education for children. We use an evidence based training method that better prepared children for encounters with unsecured firearms. To learn more click here.
